moblie web and email

I'm not really a techie. But I do love new toys. And I've been thinking about getting the mobile web and email on my phone. I'm not sure how much I would use it. I'm not sure how it would change my life. But I'm sure it would :o)

But it's gotten me thinking lately about how much we are reliant on electronics. Not even 10 years ago I didn't even have a cell phone. I didn't want one....I thought "Nobody needs to be that connected all the time!" But I broke down and got one when I started traveling quite a bit and knew it would be safer to have one. Now I'm wanting to be able to be connected 24/7....my how life changes.....I'm getting older and yet I find myself getting into the techie toys! Whatever will happen?!?!?

I'm keep you updated on the choices I have for phones and on which ones I'm thinking about buying. Then you'll get to find out which one I've chosen.

Surgery

I made it! I no longer have a gallbladder! :o)

The surgery went very well. The doctor said it was textbook. So I guess that's good! This was my first surgery, so I'm glad there were no complications.

The nurses and everyone that took care of me at St. Francis were wonderful! They were very careful to make sure that I was comfortable and that I knew what was going on. And that I had no pain.

Thanks for all your thoughts and prayers.

Surgery

well, here I am...over 40. I've never had a broken bone, I've never had surgery. The closest I've come is a root canal.

But here I am, going in on Monday for surgery. I'm a little nervous. Must admit. I think that it is pretty routine, but still...complications can happen. SO here I am wondering how things are going to turn out.

It really makes you start to think about the things in your life that are important and things that you don't want to have to worry about. People you care about...people that have hurt you...people that have meant a lot to you. It's amazing the life that we lead and how it gets us to where we are.

I want to publicly take this opportunity to let the people in my life know how much they mean to me. I've got family and friends that have supported me through some very difficult times. I know that I have not been the most fun or exciting person to be around...but they have stuck it through with me and I love them all for it. I love my family, I love my friends....and I am glad that they love me too!

Thank you Lord for such wonderful people in my life.
